Meet Heidi

Heidi first laid her hands on a digital camera 15 years ago and immediately fell in love with the art of photography.

Heidi grew up in South Africa and obtained a degree in physiotherapy, giving her a deep appreciation for the beauty and complexity of people. After graduating, Heidi married and became a mom. Moving to Canada triggered a new career as a photographer. She graduated in 2009 from the Professional Photography Course at the New York Institute of Photography.

Heidi now makes her home in the prairies of Alberta, just outside of Spruce Grove,  with her husband and two beautiful daughters. Whether in Alberta or traveling the world, Heidi loves the opportunity to capture spectacular images of life as it happens — whether it be people or nature. With Africa still very dear to her heart, a safari adventure is top of her list for creating jaw-dropping images.

As one of her major regrets in life is not having photographs of her girls when they were babies, she takes a special interest in capturing memories her clients will cherish.

Theodor Seuss Geisel said it best, "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory."
